BUYER BEWARE!
In our mission statement, we are committed to operating ethically and in the best interest of our clients. Therefore, we feel compelled to alert consumers to information that may be considered confusing or misleading.

In the U.S, there are companies who offer crash-courses on fabricating concrete countertops. Occasionally, people who have taken these courses are opening new businesses using the original company’s photographs in their marketing materials and website, since they have little or no portfolio of their own. Unfortunately for the consumer, these new companies do not always make it clear that the work depicted is not their own. So how do you compare companies? In seeking a good fabricator, ensure that any prospective company :

• Is licensed
• Can show photographs of work produced locally
• Has been in business a reasonable period of time (2-3 years)
• Guarantees their work and product for a minimum of one year
• Can supply good references

There are a few different ways to produce superior concrete countertops and none of the top companies in the industry use identical methods. Unfortunately, there are many more poorly executed designs and the buyer must beware.

Countercast Designs Inc has been producing top-quality award-winning concrete both residentially and commercially using local materials and suppliers for over 5 years, longer than any other company in BC.
